I recently indulged in a gourmet retreat at Meryem's during my visit to North Cyprus, and the culinary offerings left me pleasantly surprised. As a food enthusiast, I was intrigued by their traditional Cypriot breakfast experience. Picture this - a spread of fresh seasonal produce right at your fingertips, plucked straight from the vibrant garden brimming with flavor. The eggs from their chickens were a standout, adding a farm-to-table charm to the meal. On lucky days, we even got to enjoy goat's milk, a delightful touch of authenticity.The restaurant ambience was cozy, with disposable napkins and salt sachets giving a modern twist. Despite the repetitive nature of the breakfast spread during my extended stay, the quality remained top-notch. The lounge with fireplaces added a touch of homeliness to our dining experience, making each meal a memorable affair.While Meryem's is situated on a bustling main road, necessitating a car for exploration, its gastronomic offerings and warm hospitality make it a culinary haven worth revisiting.
